I have watched the VS Fashion Show every year for as long as I can remember. I love how they incorporate live music into the show.
The show is categorized into 6 sections, each with a different theme and artist performing for each. I find it so interesting to watch the themes, setup of the show, and location change each year.
Glam Royale
Performance: “This is Me” Leela James
The Show began with "Glam Royale" which included lots of reds and plaid.
Golden Angel
Performance: “This Feeling” Kelsea Ballerini x Chainsmokers
This section included lots of metallic embellishments!
P.S. I need to take a moment to point out how AMAZING Kelsea Ballerini's dress was.
Flights of Fancy
Performance: “Without Me” Halsey
Adriana Lima opened this section of the show. This was her 18th and final walk down the Victoria's Secret Runway.
This was one of my favorite sections. I loved the pretty pastels!
PINK
“I’m A Mess” Bebe Rexha
As always, there was a section dedicated to VS PINK. This line is full of bold colors!
Mary Katrantzou
"Lost in Japan” Shawn Mendes
This collection is designed by Mary Katrantzou, a Greek Fashion Designer known for use of print in her designs. In the past Victoria's Secret has collaborated with a designer for a section of their show. Last year was my favorite designer Olivier Rousteing, who is the creative director of Balmain.
Downtown Angel
Performance: “Let You Love Me” Rita Ora
This section was inspired by sporty street style! This featured some of Victoria's Secrets Sport Line and black basics.
Celestial Angel
Performance: “Body Talks” The Struts
This was by far my favorite!
Romee Strijd in the Swarovski Crystal Look. The bodysuit contains 70,000 Swarovski crystals, which are supposed to look like a star-strewn night sky. It took over 150 hours to apply the Swarovski crystals to the bodysuit.
Fun Fact: The wing itself weighed 20 pounds.
