A French Inspired Weekend in Nashville

There’s something about French culture that feels romantic, intentional, and slow. I can’t hop on a flight to Paris every weekend, I can create an french-inspired weekend itinerary. Whether you live in Nashville and need something new to try or you’re visiting for the first time, I hope you enjoy this. There is so much more to the city besides Broadway!
Grab your boots and a baguette and lets dive in...
FRIDAY
Start the weekend with an afternoon drink at The Authentique Wine Bar. It’s the perfect spot to ease into the vibe.
From there, head to dinner at Once Upon a Time in France. Both of these are in East Nashville!
SATURDAY
Begin your morning at The Yellow Table Cafe for coffee and something simple. Afterward, pop next door to Novelette Bookstore and browse.
For lunch, stop by Cocorico for a Parisian Sandwich and take it with you to Centennial Park for a picnic. Lay out a blanket, stay awhile, and enjoy the view of the Parthenon. It's not Louvre, but not too far off!
If you’re in the mood, swing by 12 South and visit Sézane for some Parisian-inspired shopping.
End your evening back in East with dinner at Margot Café & Bar. Unfortunately, this beloved spot is closing in June 2026. The food is amazing!
SUNDAY
Brunch at Pastis is a great way to start the day and check out another neighborhood. Then head to The Alice Perfumery Bar at The Golden Slipper for a perfume-making class. Make sure to sign up ahead of time. The class is about a hour long and it is a fun afternoon activity! If you are visiting, it's a great souvenir to take home.
Afterward, grab a coffee or chocolate at Tempered Fine Chocolates and spend time exploring Germantown’s shops.
You don’t need a plane ticket to romanticize your life. Sometimes you just need a theme! #BootsandBaguettes
What should you wear? Boots are a must, but don't forget your walk-everywhere shoes for the park and a little retail therapy. Lean into the theme with a flowy skirt or denim, then top it off with a silk scarf for that perfect pop of flair. Effortless, comfortable, and very "Paris-meets-Nashville."
Here are a some other places that fit the french vibe:
Pont Neuf
Little Gourmand
Cheekwood Gardens
The Pink Hermit
Paris Baguette
Sweet Paris
Arrington Vineyard
