Savannah

Updated: Aug 29, 2023

This is a long overdue post that I never published last year. If you know me, you know I love to plan a trip! Last year I planned one of my college friend's bachelorette trips in Savannah. We chose Savannah, because it was drivable between Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama and the bride had never been. If you have never planned a bachelorette, it's a lot more work than you would expect. Trying to pick a weekend that fits everyone schedule, a place that fits everyones budget, and getting reservations for a group is not an easy task.

We stayed in an Airbnb that could not have been more fitting for a bachelorette or girl's weekend! It books up fast, so make sure you plan in advance if you want to stay here. It was perfect for our group of five.

Day 1 (Friday)

After settling in our Airbnb, we had an afternoon bite at Treylor Park. We spent the afternoon decorating and ordered takeout for Dinner from Vinnie Van Go-Go's Pizza before a night on the town.

Day 2 (Saturday)

We started day two at The Sentient Bean and we walked through the Forsyth Farmer's Market finding lots of unique vendors. After that we walked towards the river and stopped in a few shops along the way before having lunch at Rocks on the River. Since we were already on the river, we took a walk down the famous River street. After heading back to our Airbnb to change we stopped at Electric Moon, a rooftop with a slide before dinner at the Grove. After dinner we had a night on the town!

Day 3 (Sunday)

On Sunday morning we all left bright and early.

The bride's veil, bride's robe and pj's, and balloons were from Shein. Our matching t-shirts were from Etsy.
